The brief

Professional Conference & Project Management Ltd are a UK-based company who organise conferences around the world. Professional Project required a website to promote their services to existing and potential customers. They needed a site which explained what they offer in a simple and clear way, yet was visually compelling and enticing.

The approach

We talked with Professional Project to plan the types of information the site needed to display. From these discussions a site structure was devised, which helped us when providing design proposals. Professional Project have an identity provided by Jean François Porchez, and we worked with that to provide a range of design proposals for the layout of various parts of the website. Issues of accessibility and browser compatibility were discussed, with the aim of producing a fully accessible and standards compliant website.

The outcome

We provided a design solution for the website which reflects the company ethos and identity. It uses the company orange throughout, and the information is clear, easy to find and read. The website is built using XHTML and CSS throughout, to be accessible and standards compliant. It uses a dedicated print stylesheet to allow the user to print out information and read it in a paper friendly format. Return to web & electronic publishing
