We were approached by Cleanup UK to work on the build of their website, following a rebranding exercise.
We took the brand guidelines and built the front-end and backend systems (in Rails), working closely with the Cleanup team to deliver ther functionality they needed.
Their old website was not working how they wanted, both for them and the site users. We started with a clean slate, and mapped out all the user journeys and interaxctions, and developed a complete set of wireframes. This allowed for rapid iterations and testing, before we started building.
The website was built in Rails, with a bespoke client admin area to manage content, users, groups, hubs and ltter picks. Everything was designed to allow for simple management of data, as the client wanted as much control as possible. As we built a bespoke website and backend for them, rather than having to work within the confines of an existing CMS, we could deliver the flexibility they needed.
Since launch the website has already seen an increase in traffic and engagement and we are looking forward to working with the client on future developments.
